Join WEM Trauma Lead Paramedic Eoin Walker to hear from two inspiring pre-hospital clinicians and WEM Faculty, Ollie Neece and Claire Fitchett, and find out how they have navigated an adventurous career in pre-hospital care and into critical care.

You’ll hear unique insights into their perceptions of working within high performing teams and on SAR helicopters.

The panel will also examine the processes that Ollie and Claire advocate for continual learning and improvement, guiding you to end up where you want to be in pre-hospital care plus some key take-home lessons that have got them to where they are now!

More about the speakers and WEM Faculty

Claire Fitchett is a registered paramedic and currently works as a critical care paramedic at Thames Air Ambulance. Having served in the Army, she has undertaken military service in Afghanistan where she was part of the Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT).

She holds a Post Graduate teaching qualification and regularly teaches on military medical courses and is currently training to be an instructor with the Advanced Life Support Group in the UK.

Ollie Neece is a helicopter Winchman Paramedic working for the UK Coastguard.

Having spent over 12 years as a Helicopter Loadmaster in the Royal Air Force his aviation career is vast and varied. He has operated many different helicopters in various roles and environments around the world, including a tour on RAF Search and Rescue, and here he conducted numerous rescues in the hills of Scotland and the Falkland Islands.
Medicine has always been a keen interest of Ollie’s, especially trauma, and now based down atSouth Coast of England he can often be spotted dangling under red and white helicopters over the Solent!
